January Happy New Year to all. I hope you had a great one - we had a quiet one at home - and it was very nice. Had a lovely time in Sydney over Xmas, and it made me appreciate the open space and fresh air. It was lovely to go away but just as nice to come home again. Back to work now - and I am still enjoying it. The second sale is being ellusive for now but the market seems to be picking up again now so I hope it wont be too long away !!! Having a BBQ towards the end of Jan - I will post the pictures as soon as I have them - I hope the day isnt too hot. Thats all for now folks - I will post more as it happens. February Well, time is going far too quickly !!! It won't be long now till I am back in the UK for 3 weeks - I arrive back on the 1st June and I can't wait. I hope to catch up with everyone for a weekend when I come to Birmingham, but as I know dates I will let all my friends know - it will be so good to see the gang again ! Life here in Oz is still going good, and it's still very hot. My new car is great and I love it. See the pics here. I'm still enjoying real estate, and work is keeping me busy and out of trouble. I managed to have a couple of weekends off, and on the first one Warren and I help a BBQ and it was great - we had close to 30 people attend and even though it was hard work it was well worth it. Last weekend I went away for a weekend to the Gold Coast for a couple of days - it was a lovely break and I caught up with some friends. We spent Sunday at the beach and swimming in the sea, and I still managed to burn my back and nose !!! Look like a multi coloured lobster at the moment but it's nice to have some colour. We've had some painting done on the house this month, so the kitchen, laundry, bathroom and hall in the house have been painted, along with the stable roof and inside the stables, and now the outside of the house is being done - as the photos are done I will post them here. The change is amazing and the place looks so much better. That's all for now, I will post more this month as it happens, but I think work will be ruling my life this month :) Ciao for now xxxx March Not much happening this month - just a lot of work!! Managed to make a few sales so far so happy about that. At the end of Feb I moved into a unit closer to work. The unit is looking good now - all unpacked and organised. It looks really nice and it's nice to have all my nik naks from the UK out and on display, makes the unit really feel like home. Weather is good - it is cooling down a bit now so it makes it more comfortable at night !!! We have had a fair bit of rain so it is looking lovely and green, and very picturesque :) Aunt Bloss and Aunt Edith came out to see me at the weekend - it was lovely to see them both and catch up. I showed them around the area and we had a lovely lunch. I hope to go down to the Gold Coast soon and see everyone down there. I will write more as it happens - I promise you will all be the first to know. April Well, the time is going so quick :) It's not long now before I head back to the UK for 3 weeks and I cant wait. I am so looking forward to seeing my Mum and Dad again, and catching up with all my friends. I will be in Birmingham for the first weekend in June so if you are about I would love to catch up and have a good old gossip !!! But before then I have a hectic work and social calendar :) It is easter this weekend and I am working some of it and then I hope to go down to the Gold coast and spend some time on the beach if the weatehr permits. Its sunny at the moment but in true holiday style is forcast to rain over the easter weekend !! Typical !!!! After that there is GLISS social function which I will go to - I am looking forward to that - it is a car drive to an unkown destination follwed by a BBQ & picnic so that should be fun - I will try and remember to take some pictures for you !!! Pictures were taken - and our team won the rally !!! Check the galleries for the pics .... And then next month I am going on a wine tasting weekend which should be a great laugh - once again I will try and get some great pics for you !!! And after that it is packing time for my trip back to the UK :) Oh yeah - and I have to do some work in the meantime to pay for all of this LOL. Take care and I will update again soon :) May Had a good month - really enjoyed the wine tasting and the show - it was a great weekend :) I am still trying to get the pictures of us outside each winery - it was a lovely relaxing weekend and the area was beautiful even if it was very cold at night. Work was very busy and kept me out of trouble - I made a few sales which kept me occupied, as well as all the packing and preparing for my holiday to the UK - I cant wait to see all my firends and Mum and Dad again. There will be lots of pictures from that trip I can assure you :) On a sad note Warren said goodbye to his dog Tabby this month, she will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
June Well, I am now in the UK, and it is a bittersweet holiday. It is great to see my Mum and Dad and catch up with all my friends, but I got some very sad news on my arrival. My friend Helen from university sadly lost her boyfriend in a walking accident in Scotland a week ago. My thoughts are with her and I will be atending the funeral next week. The weather is very nice and sunny and I had forgotten what sunsets were like !!! I have taken lots of pictures already and they have all been added so go and check lots of pages to see what is new !!!! Apparently this is the first sunshine of the year so it looks like I bought the sun with me - I just hope I sent the rain back to Oz for you all :) The cats are doing great - they are all well and loving their country life. They have remembered me and now follow me around all over the place :) Time is going so quickly and before I know it I will be back in Oz. The flight was very long but quite good, and I am not looking forward to the return journey !!! But cant be avoided !!!
June Part 2 Back in Oz now and it is so nice to be home, even if I did pick up a stomach bug when I got home :( Only lasted for a few days and it didnt stop me working - am back in the swing of things now and busy as usual catching up on everything I missed while I was away !!! Not much to report - the flight back was good even though a couple of the flights were delayed which made my change overs very tight. Updated the galleries of me and of my pets so have a peek. The last couple of weeks in the UK were busy - Mum had me doing lots of work around the house like building kitchen cabinets for her as she is doing some remodeling in the house and changing a few bits around. I cant wait to see the pictures of how it all looks when it is done. We went up to a dog show and did well, so it was a very good day :) Anyway, time for me to sign off until next month ... Thanks for reading xx July Well, it has been a hectic month at work - therefore I havent been up to much other than working the past few weeks. It is flu season here and a lot of my collegues have been off with the flu so I have been working non stop. Fortunately it seems to have avoided me, and I am still trying to keep up with all my appointments. Some of my days turned into 12 hour days by the time I had caught up with all the paperwork from the day!!! No rest for the wicked. One nice point to start the month was that I achieved salesperson of the month for June which i was very pleased about ! Have done a couple of sociable things though - had a friend up from the gold coast for the weekend which was nice to catch up. Also caught up with friends in brissy and went to the pictures - it has been so long since i went to the movies I forgot how much fun it was ! I saw Pirates Of The Carribean 2 and I can recomend it - it was a good movies wuth some very funny parts in it. I managed to hit a Kangaroo while on the way to the veiwing, no damage to either Kangaroo or the car which was good but it did wake me up !!! August is looking busy and I will write soon and let you know what is going on, but that is all for now folks !
October Sorry it been so long folks, but life been pretty hectic since i last got to write to you, but not for personal reasons - it has really all been work with me. I have made a few sales, and they are all settling soon, and work is staying busy and keeping me on my toes. I had to cover for a few work sollegues when they were off ill and then one girl left and left us short staffed, so it has been all hands to the wheel to make sure we keep our service levels up !! Been catching up with friends when i can, but as you can imagine it has been hard, but I have been out for a few meals when I get the chance. It is always so nice to go out and not have to cook and to wash up - you all know how much I hate washing up lol !!! Mum is still doing really well, and most of the puppies from the last litter have now gone to their new homes. As I said, not much to report as work seems to be ruling my life, as soon as I have more news I will post it for you :) Love to you all xxxx November Well, it has definately been one of those months!!!! Work really picked up and I was rushed off my feet for a few weeks and made the odd sale here and there!! I made a few sales - some are going through, the odd one or two arent sadly but you win some you lose some, it is the way of life. On a personal note, I actually got to catch up with a few friends and make it to a GLISS ( local gay group) function, as well as a friends birthday party - the pics are on here for you to see. Mum is doing well, and has 2 young puppies to look after now, and my cats are as vocal as ever - I am sure they know it is me phoning ewach time !! For those of you that want to know - i managed to sell close to the $1 million mark for november, in just under 3 weeks. I hope to take 5 days off in nov to recharge properly and see some mates and just have some fun which i am in need of !!! For those of you that used to party with me u know that i need my down time and it is long overdue that i have my down time and find a balance between work and home. Missing you all and looking forward to visits in the near future - Please hurry up LOL xxxxx November Part 2 I have a new addition to the family - a 6 week old kitten called Riley. Check out the pics !!! December Well, it is that time of year again - another year about to draw to a close and another one about to start. This year has been a different year but it is going to end on a high note. Work has been going well, but this month it has been very quiet, so I am catching up on a lot of things - and thankfully it is not too hot so I can get to do things. I have a few friends coming over for Christmas which will be nice - I am sure it is going to be great fun :) I know Riley will like all the extra attention and the extra limbs to bite and play with !!! He is becoming a little menance but he is so cute he is forgiven - the Christmas tree has been killed a few times. Well, not really been up to much as you can tell - so I will say to all - Have a great Christmas and a fun New Year - I will chat to you all next year. Till then be good and thank you for reading.
