October Well, here is where I tell you all what I have been up to !!!! Recently we have had Warrens niece staying as well as my friend Alex from the UK. Alex and I used to work together at Adams Childresnwear. As we have had guests we have been doing a bit of sight seeing. We all went to Movie World (similar to Alton Towers) and it was a scorching hot day so we kept going on all the water rides to stay cool !! It was a great day and I will be posting pictures soon in my personal galleries. Click here to see the pics. I also took Alex and Tamika to Wet N Wild which was a great day. Once again it was very hot but we didnt mind too much as we spent most of the day in the pools !!!! I have taken Alex out in Brisbane to show her some of the night life, and that was a good night and lots of fun !!! Watch out for the pics coming soon !! We had some freak hail storms here recently with hail stones the size of cricket balls, but fortunately it missed us completely, but some people down on the Gold Coast were not so fortunate. November Well, I have been officially made redundant now, but it was not a surprise. It has been great working from home, but I have a new job working in real estate starting in Jan. I start my training mid November for my license to sell real estate, so it is not all bad. I am really looking forward to my new career and I hope I will be good at it ! I am moving in with Warren this month - it feels like this year all I have done is pack and unpack, which pretty much is all I have done, so I hope that htis is the last move for a while!!!!! December I have finished my training for my new job, and passed with flying colours. I am spending time in the office getting to know the local area and what properties we have - and I can tell you the roads around here are very confusing - you can go round a corner and be on a different road !!! But I am slowly geting used to it. I am all officially moved in with Warren now, and it is so nice to be happy and finally settled with a career that I enjoy. The horses and the dogs keep me busy when I am not at work. I cant believe Christmas is so close - on the 21st of this month we fly to Sydney for a week to spend at Warrens Mum's. I cant wait as I haven't seen much of Sydney so it will all be new to me. I have been really slow this year with the Christmas cards - so please let me apologise now. I will try and send some soon, but time has escaped me !! I can't believe I have been here 6 months now - it seems like only yesterday I arrived here, and I have done so much already !! It is VERY hot here (I know you dont want to hear that as you are in a cold snap in the UK) but it also very humid here - we average about 35 degrees with 90% humidity - and I dont have air con in my car so I cook every time I drive anywhere - so my next car will have to have air con :) I am looking into cars here with a view to changing my car next year - I need a bigger car if I am to escort people to properties, and to carry the for sale signs in the boot !!! Not much other news to report, other than the cats are all doing fine and are happy, and I am looking at flights and it looks like I will be back early June next year to visit. I hope to catch up with everyone then. Happy Christmas and have a great new year !!! DECEMBER NEWS FLASH - I made my first sale and it was such a good feeling :) Now all I have to do is make a few more!! I am really enjoying the job and the people I work with are really nice. I am becoming very busy very quickly which is good as it keeps me out of trouble, and I dont mind putting in loads of hours as it will all be worth it in the long run !!!!
